2023 Open Burning Season Over

    The 2023 open burning season has come to a close, thank you to all those obtained permits and used caution when burning brush this year.  

Mutual Aid to Southampton

  On Tuesday February 28th, Pelham Fire Department was called to assist Southampton Fire Department for a structure fire. Due to the fire being in an area with no water supply, and poor road conditions, many tankers from Hampshire and Hampden Counties were called in to shuttle water to the fire scene.

On Saturday January 21st, just after 4:00 PM, Pelham Fire was requested to assist Amherst Fire with a structure fire in their community. Pelham responded with an Engine and full crew to assist with fire suppression operations.

Multi car MVC on snowey roads sends 4 to hospital

On the afternoon of Monday January 23, 2023 a 3 car accident on Amherst Rd sent 4 victims to the hospital, as well as a 5th victim who refused medical attention. Amherst FD respoded with 3 ambulances to transport the injured to Baystate Medical Center. Pelham Fire secured the vehicles and assisted with patient care. […]
