Pelham Fire Department has been given access to the old fish rod factory before it is demolished for fire training. Over the next few weeks members of Pelham and Amherst Fire Departments will practice techniques on the building including venting the roof and windows, ladders, hose advancement, water flow, forcible entry and victim / firefighter rescue. On Tuesday November 21, Pelham Fire along with Amherst Fire Call Force conducted training evolutions on the structure. We would like to thank Western Builders for giving us access to the building and the support to conduct this invaluable real world training opportunity.
